Bells Bold Baby 2000 Grey Mare, 15H Old breeding of Bold Ruler, Go Man Go, Magnolia Bars. This is a nice mare with all the tools to go on and do great things. Pepper has been ridden this fall by my 10 year old daughter who is quite timid and this mare has done everything she asks of her and even some things she doesn’t. This sweet mare will only go the speed you ask her for. She is more then willing to slow lope with a child or bat her and she will fire up and run. She REALLY wants to turn you can’t run her past one but can be so nimble around them she won’t hit a barrel. She has also spent several months on an 800 head cow/calf operation in SE Kansas. Meet Spot! We purchased Spot 2 years ago to teach my daughter to ride. He has been the best investment I ever made. He is safe, sane, and easy for kids to handle. My daughter was extremely timid when we bought him now she is ready for something a little faster thanks to him! Kids can catch him in the pasture, saddle, bridle and anything else they desire by themselves. He has no rear, buck or bite. He will make a kid ride though, if they want to trot they have to tell him, if they want to lope you must kick him. My daughter goes out in the pasture by herself and rides him around loping and trotting to get him in “shape” LOL! He is an easy keeper, tough footed enough to go barefoot but stands great for shoer as well. He knows barrels and poles and has been headed off of by previous owner. I am the worrier mother and he is definitely Mother approved. I trust him to take care of any child that can sit up there and tell him where to go! He’s not speedy but he is DEFINATLY SAFE!!!
